The fundraiser is designed to raise funds towards the ‘Givit Eugowra’ appeal which has been running since their devasting floods last November. Eugowra with a population of 700 still have 200 houses uninhabitable and 150 caravans on site to help house them. ‘Wickham Lane’ who are a vocal harmony group based in the Hilltops Shire have been entertaining people with their four part harmonies since 2005 and are regulars at the Yass Celtic festival, have joined forces with Harden Country Club, Eugowra Promotion & Progress Assoc and Harden-Murrumburrah Rotary Club to shine a light on the Eugowra’s continued struggle to recover. Joining Wickham Lane (Julie O’Connor, Eris Gleeson, Lindel Roxburgh, Peter O’Connor, Peter Roberts and John Roxburgh) on stage for a night with an Irish flavour will be local entertainers Leigh Butt & Oscar Smith. We will run a silent Auction on the night as well as 6 major items to be auctioned by local real estate agent Richard Fleming. All funds raised will go to Eugowra.
